OB Update: Visited the obstetrician again today. I've gained two pounds, fundal height is 38 cm, baby's heart rate is 150. The strep swab tests came back negative (that's good, trust me, you don't want to know more.) We're going back in another week, unless Elvis decides to leave the building sooner.
My "last day of work" was pretty uneventful - probably because I've been really tired and sat at my desk staring at the computer like a deer in the headlights.
I'll be perkier next post.

- I'm originally from North America and I work in the travel industry. I started this blog when I was living in Baltic Europe and wanted to keep family and friends updated on my first pregnancy. I took maternity leave for a year, and came a little closer to figuring out what I want to be when I grow up - but alas, the job of "Katharine Hepburn" was taken. So after fifteen months of Stay-at-Home-Mom-hood, I returned to the workforce in January 2006. My husband and I have a daughter born in 2004 and a son born in 2006 (known on this blog as "Gigi" and "Halley" respectively). My company transferred me to a nice warm island in July 2006, where I get to spend the next three years (at least!) So why the name "Purple Scare"?
